Guys.... After thinking of jumping ship this year and test driving a few of the rivals I have changed my mind...!
So I'm after an immaculate 2012+ with Max 20k mileage.

If I buy private I don't expect to pay dealer price but I don't expect to pay bottom book either... You know what I mean!
I'm in no mad rush but the sooner the better. Anyone changing soon?

Hi Uk Guy, if only this had been April!
I part exchanged my 2012 HSE in Firenze red for my new RRS2 HSE. It had just 7500 miles and was in showroom condition.
I am sure you will find what you want, there are quite a few around as people change to the new one.
What is your preference?

Red one - that sounds perfect for what I want...! Shame I didn't post earlier.
I'm open to offers re preference - Black, red, gray I'm not really bothered as long as it's a mint car.
HSE I think is a must as my previous ones have been a minimum of HSE with a load of toys!

BC - yes I have seen this one, just what I would like but it's at dealer prices.
As stated, I don't want to pay dealer prices on a private sale. I'm looking at paying book plus couple of K if I buy private. (Which I think is fair).

Mike has just pointed out to me that what I thought was a fair trade price given by We buy any car is very low (thought they were better than dealer trade price)
I will re evaluate my options using parkers.

Some cars go bottom book and others go top or even more than book. The RRS has always been a desirable car, when new, 2nd owner and even 3rd owner markets. I may be wrong but I can't think of a sustained time when due to its desirability and demand, it hasn't run top book or even over book price.

I think you will have to up your budget or lower your expectation. Most people on here know what they can get if they sell. Be prepared, genuine low mile, late model nice spec FLRSH cars will go for top $ especially if they have a bit of warranty left. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

Parkers guide going to be slightly nearer the mark than WBAC. Check Autotrader for prices of what model/spec. you are looking for and go from there. Bought mine from a main dealer and got a good cash discount.  MY 09TDV8

Ok, I spent a bit of time looking around different online systems and found a few cars from genuine main landrover dealers which are better (I.e original autobiography and 2013) for same money as 2012 ones advertised on here with the same toys but NOT an original autobiography. It's done 10k more but is a 2013 !

Looks like a nice car. Although It seems to have fewer toys than the other member's car.

Although mine isn't an autobiography this is 10.7% more expensive, has 47.5% more miles than mine and is only 9 months newer, on pure maths mine's better value

Also it has no side steps or privacy glass and personally I couldn't live with that interior

I've done the deal for the 2013 Autobiography.
Just was not worth buying private for me anyway (thought I would save a few ££)
Paid a good deal less than the asking price and also got 2.5years warrantee (remainder + extended for 12m), 12 months road tax, full service and a full tank of fuel.
