Hi have just bought an 08 plate 3.6 TDV8 sport. Reading the handbook It says you can change the xenon bulbs yourself

Should be 55W D2S at 4300K, I think.

OK thanks will have a look and see what I can find. It was the numbers after the bulbs that I couldn't under stand as some were listing 6000k, 8000k and 10000k.

But incorrect bulbs may have been installed before. |

Well, my bulbs were never replaced, still the original as fitted by the factory.(They are bixenon, adaptive)

I'm not saying don't look, checking will at least re-inforce what you have just stated for the correct bulb fitment, but it might not highlight which is the correct temperature. Sorry for causing any confusion there. |

I checked my handbook and it also says: Xenon Bulbs D2S 55W

FYI the higher the colour temperature the more blue the appearance of the light.
