SO I get my 2010 RRS tomorrow from the dealer. I can not wait. Had an Evoque Pure+Tech and decided to upgrade to the bigger brother.
3 Ltr TDV6 in black with Ivory leather and a host of add on options. I'm like a kid at Christmas right now!

Slight issue ahs been my insurer. They refused to take the risk on the car. Said it was down to a high number of thefts they have had claims on recently. Anybody else a where of this? Had to switch providers which was a shame as this company I had been with for several years and was getting some great deals.

My previous insurer wouldn't insure car without tracker installed. (Nationwide)
Switched insurers and saved myself around £75 + cost of tracker if was to stay.

I also got a pro rata refund on remaining policy without any admin charges.

Thats worrying, but not at all surprised. Who were you insured with? Hope it wasn't Admiral If not, give them a try.

I was using a broker called Chris Knott, and they got me with Highway, part of Liverpool Victoria. I've moved to Hastings Premier now, got a rebate on the remaining 4 months and a great price!

Could have tried A-plan, they have a branch local to you in Solihull & are site sponsors. Ive used them in the past and they were ok (not that I ever needed to claim) and will be giving them a shout when my sport is due as they are supposed to be competitive on the rrs.

I tried A plan straight away as I saw they were site sponsors. However they couldn't get the premium anywhere near what I got else where.
