Picking A New Sport On Friday

Picking my new sport up on friday after placing the order in December.
Had a discovery 4 and the older shape sport which has gone this week, so looking forward to getting the new shape.
I will add pictures later
Thanks

Please let us know if there's the 5 - 10mm gap around the base of the rear hatch where it's meant to meet the rear bumper. I can understand your excitement but check the car carefully before you sign the release form. I hope you aren't disappointed. Mark

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Firenze Red

Hi The spec is a Autobiography in corris grey with a black roof and ebony/pimeto seats
I have added a few extras which are -
Deployable side steps
Full sized spare wheel
Privacy glass
Remote park heat
Blind spot monitor with reserve traffic
I know the side steps are over priced but they will be used
Red and black interior is a bit bright but it was time for a change as I have had cream twice
Pictures to follow

Hey Rupert,

That's almost the identical spec that I'm going to order - sounds great!

Hoping that you can post lots of pics of the interior......

Thanks Disco.....

Looks great and seems to go really well with the dark engined turned aluminium trim - was considering this or the grand black trim (which I've seen in the flesh alongside the ebony/ivory AB seats).

How does the ebony/pimento feel to you in the flesh? I've seen all pimento, at a dealership, and it was a bit too much for me. I'm hoping the 50/50 ebony/pimento will work better, with the ebony headlining. I have similar in my Evoque and I love it....

I quite like the idea of red, I have in a Mercedes SL55, but the pimento to me feels the wrong shade, I'd prefer a darker red, though it's a brave man who goes for Firenze on the outside and Pimento on the inside. Mark

Hi,Its the 3L engine and not the V8,I had the 3L and the supercharged both for a 2 day test drives.
Had a lot of fun in the supercharged sport but this was way to fast for me.I am in my 40's but drive like in a in my 70's !!
Good luck to all you supercharged boys you have more bottle than me.
I think the red and black interior looks better in true life than it often seen on photo's as it looks more of a richer red.
Gone for the light grey headlining as it feels a bit lighter inside, i know most would pick black headlining but if we all had the same opinion we would all drive the same cars in the same colour.

Sounds like a lovely car, pics please when you get it. Thumbs Up

Good choice on the headlining, all black would be too dark IMO. Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more... Twisted Evil

Gone but not forgotten:
2014 RRS2 SDV6 HSE in Loire Blue
