quick update:

the car is in the body shop and they are taking the car to a larger paint company that actually scan the paint on the the car and mix it from there!

Just to add to this one - my Orkney Grey is slightly different on the front and rear bumpers and the bonnet - all of which appear to be plastic (they all sound different when tapped anyway). Surprised by the bonnet being plastic - or at least appearing to be! The difference is only really visible in direct sunlight though and when I clean it, but it is annoying. My neighbour (has 63 plate Disco XS in Loire Blue) asked if it had been pranged - cheeky t**t. The pic in the gallery of my car in front of our blue garage doors (only big enough for a Model T - 1939 house) shows it best. HSE Black - Orkney Grey, ivory leather, privacy glass, tow bar. Interesting, I just finished a project on my grill to spray it the same Stornoway grey on the surround (it was an all chrome ebay grill) it looks fab, really happy with it, but I'd say its not the same shade its lighter! But I'd put that down to it being a 7 year old paint job... Surely that is a factor?
