ok todays technical teaser is this....

rrs 2008 se ...... the folding mirrors don't !!! the mirrors do move /adjust as required via the little joystick and I went to

the local main dealer and got a print out of the factory fitted customers original order which says it has power fold and

heated mirrors . I have pushed the joystick down around and every which way but no joy. to add to my woes the info via

the indicator stalk says reverse mirror dipping is activated ... its not and the drivers one touch window op wont reset .

so any ideas from anyone would be greatly accepted before the main dealer takes my pants down !!!!!

yep lots of times with car running and not , key in different positions etc. I was thinking it maybe a wire come off the back but they adjust all ok so discounted that theory !

Check fuse 16 in the interior fuse box

Failing that, potentially a memory module, which was fairly common on the early models
Power Fold module is also a possibility, but more unlikely
As is the power fold function of both mirrors...
