Who has got the most miles up on theirs?

I'm sitting at 110k now, I've hit a lot of driving since I got it a few months back, loving it still and feeling it is solid as a rock. I've never had an engine past 125k on the clock but assured these bad boys do the miles. I read somewhere that most of the range rovers ever made are still happy in service.

That says a lot, despite the terrible reputation they have - its like the English version of an Alfa Romeo Wink
Though mine really seems happy - everything works the way I'd expect and its nippy and giving me great mpg for a v8.

So, who has seen the most road?

My RRS TDV8 has done 150k and I know of 2 in the local RR club that are over 300k now and still happy. As with everything - do the preventative maintenance and dont be stingy on anything or it may come back and bite you! Regards, Marty

The main thing I think is to make sure your car is serviced by a reliable and knowledgable Indy - I am very fortunate to have a very good one who knows all Landrover vehicles very well. For me regular servicing every 10k - I think all Landrover vehicles love fresh oil if you know what I mean. Always monitor your air filter and make sure the trans is serviced properly every 50k - by this I mean with a tranny flush. I believe in preventative maintenance rather than repair. Dont know about over there in the UK but here in Oz too many owners think that 'its a 4WD it will take anything", it will, but only if properly maintained, just because its a 4WD doesnt mean you can ignore proper care. Just my opinion. I always connect my RRS to a solar battery charger when its going to be parked up for a week or so too. Regards, Marty
