Just been quoted about 650 plus VAT for a second year service; is this about right? I nearly choked, especially as it has done under 10,000 miles. -------------------

Last 2nd service I had done was £360 inc VAT, using genuine filters, AND replacing a set of brake pads

Dealers think they have you by the short and danglies

Just had mine done, 36k on clock £595 incl VAT seemed average with dealers checked around here.
