Do you think the Range Rover looks better than the sport?

Hi having owned the sport for a few months, I can't help but think the new range rover is more attractive , especially the back end - anyone agree ?

England 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

Yes I agree with you, can't seem to get my head around the arse end on the new RRS. Big Cry
I've got a year left in this one of mine and will be test driving the 4.4AB when it goes for its second service in two weeks, I hope the drive is exceptional to convince me that I can live with the evoque style rear.

Having said that the new porsche cayanne 4.2 has been getting some good reviews but not as good as the RRS.
Test drive also booked on the same day so I can compare them. Thumbs Up

So that leaves the FFRR and the cost will probably keep me out of that market Big Cry Now gone Orkney grey SDV6 HSE with body style kit contrast stitch ebony leather, privacy, black piano, 22" Lowenharts for summer, 20" with Leon LTZ for winter.
Here 110 black edition defender.

Same here, i STILL can't like the back end of the new RRS which is why i didn't buy one when I was looking and decided to get the X6 instead. Many people will say X6 worse but the back of the RRS doesn't suit the rest of the car. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

No - don't agree, the RR looks like a Hi Priced South Korean SUV where the new RRS looks like a classy but capable 4WD. 07MY RRS TDV6

I couldn't see what was good about the FFRR's looks but it has really grown on me now. Likewise the Sport's rear end which looks ok to me now. The rest of it looks great. Took one round Weribee proving ground on Sunday courtesy of ULR and was totally impressed with how easy it did the 4x4 stuff. A step above the D3/D4! Also surprised how well the FL2 went. RRS P460e
1983 2 door Range Rover ARB Bar X9000 winch ARB Rear Bar now semi retired.
Many big trips done in this one.
1982 Rangerover nearly restored.

Nice 2013 Freelander TD4 manual (for daughter to learn on) with much better stereo compared with previous SD4 SE with Meridian which sounded bad!
2013 Land Rover Defender ute.

It's all down to personal preference - I had a new TDV6 FFRR courtesy car for extended period and late model TDV8 FFRR too. I have also owned MY10 and MY13 RRS Thumbs Up

The TDV8 late model FFRR had the best engine but wallowed like a boat, the new TDV6 FFRR is better at cornering but didn't give the pleasure of the previous TDV8 on acceleration/noise and not as good as MY13 RRS cornering Twisted Evil

The FFRR looks better quality inside than the RRS but it is £20k more before you even look at the TDV8 Sad

Parking the Old FFRR and New FFRR in UK car parks is near impossible due to size - spaces are designed for minis and chauffeurs to sit in vehicle waiting for passenger who gets out before they park Laughing

The new FFRR looks more classy to me and sure if I drive a TDV8 with Dynamic I will need to sell everything and save up for one but SWMBO has banned me form even looking at one Wink Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Still hoping for a S2 one day!

Glad you like your RRS Phil because I don't like the new Evoque XL shape, I want to but I just cant get over the puny exhausts and and plastic valance with slitty tail lights. The rest is OK, but the arse falls way short.

I don't need an RRS for driving on 4 lane roads where we have 365 days of sunshine and the X6 suits me just fine. I wanted one from the day they came out and I don't regret it. It goes wherever I need it to go, tows my boat, carries 5 with luggage and boat stuff.

My money my choice, your money your choice. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

Indeed. No offence meant and I hope none taken.

I find it funny that in a thread about looks people introduce the Cayenne and the X6.

All in my personal, obviously weird, opinion.

I prefer the front end of the RRS and the rear of the FFRR.

Does that help? Very Happy
