Don't they often suck the oil out now, rather than lift it and drain it...im sure they do, which means the car might not have been lifted up at all. Mike

Still waiting for a reply to my email. I sent a reminder on Monday and the 'Service' rep said he was going to talk to the Technician. Must be a long way to the workshop from the 'service' desk or its a very complex conversation. The email didn't apologise for washing the car even though I'd instructed them not to valet it.

We'll wait them out for the rest of the week and then I'll let it be known that the car has an 'accident' recording camera to see if that helps jog their memory of what was done.

There were 3 issues.

1. On the wheel alignment check...
The dealer promised to post me the alignment sheet, then: after a chasing email, they telephoned and said it was an admin error as the text on the invoice for the free check was not meant to be there! Apparently, they claim, this is not offered free on the Sports 2nd service. As a mere gullible punter I'm supposed to believe this. He was very quiet when I mentioned the In-car camera had recorded the car's time in their workshop Rolling with laughter

2. On the Software Upgrade.
During the telephone call he could not tell me the reference code and promised to call back and could not say is this would stop the occasional 'blank' touchscreen it must be very hard to read if you're 2 sandwiches short of a picnic.

3. On, ignoring my request, "not to wash the car" because it had been 'waxed', - .." well we always wash customers cars before returning them sir..."

Their 'Lady' in the customer service department is going to return my call Thumbs Up - so that's Censored fine after all its only been a month since they had the car!!

I've a sneaky feeling they are unlikely to see my car or wallet again Laughing
