Hi all, I have just purchased a 2008 tdv8. It has Overfinch dials, supersport wheels.
The steering wheel has an Overfinch badge in the center but looks like a standard LR steering wheel.
Well the center looks standard but the outer is partly exposed black wood or placcy.
Also has Brembo brakes which I know are standard.
Oh and it has the "dynamic pack".??

Were these "dealer options" or more likely fitted by a previous owner.

More likely they were fitted by Overfinch. But it is possible they were fitted by a previous owner.

check that the wheels are originals and not some Chineese knock offs.

If it was all done by overfinch, you should also have overfinch on the bonnet, the rear and on the brake callipers. So the previous owner could well have done some shopping on Ebay for Overfinch decalls.

Well to be fair it wasn't sold as Overfinch it just has a few "overfinch" bits ie wheels, steering wheel and speedo face.
It does not proport to be a full overfinch job either, ie standard range rover lettering.
The wheels have "Overfinch" cast into the spokes, will have a closer look when I get back home.
The brake calipers are brembo.
I think I would just feel happier if the speedo faces were a dealer fitted option and not a diy job.

that dials thing is what raises question marks to me.
if it was not a full at overfinch converted RRS, why would a dealer install these dials?

the dials are fairly easy to replace, just a bit time consuming. but for about a hundred buck I can have dials made for you with any print you like. even with your own name on it!


Anyway, just for your own safety, make sure the wheels are sound. take one off and have a look on the inside at the centre. there should be some markings there.

Yeah, they are the ones. I know you can buy them. They look perfectly fine and well fitted.

i have been looking at these dials for mine. Do they look ok when back lit at night? Mate of mine had some coloured dials in his Audi and they looked fab but at night they looked sh*te
