Won't open from the inside with the handle?

My car is setup to be locked when driving, but now it won't open when I pull the door handle (from the inside) now and then. I have to press the "unlock" button and then pull the handle.

Anyone else having this issue? Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Dynamic -14

Sounds like a loose electrical collector inside the door. There will be a switch or sensor which tells the car the interior door release is being pulled and that is not working reliably. Time for a visit to the dealer... Mark

Oh, it got worse now.

Tonight pressing the "unlock" button didn't work, it was still locked and it didn't work to open the door from outside.

Locking and unlocking with the key fob worked.

I guess I'll call the dealer on Monday.

Still love the car though! Smile

Meanwhile, I'll have to drive the RR S/C. Could be worse Smile Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Dynamic -14

i sure wouldnīt risk it if itīs happening on the inside too......

Back in the early 90īs I had a 928 with a faulty alarm that immobilised the car locked the windows and doors with the alarm whaling

sitting right in the middle of an intersection and bus lane.....huge tailback and some very amused motorists laughing at me... some pretty Censored off too.... AA got me out after an hour stuck in the car...

let us know the dealers diagnosis... 2014.5 SDV6 AB Dynamic ... Fuji /Santorini Pan roof and 22's

Well. The car is not booked for next Tuesday.

It was not a known issue with the new Sport they said.

However, I found out about a new "recall". "Valet-mode"-issue, entering the 4-pin code to exit valet-mode apparently doesn't work. So I guess we should try that Smile Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Dynamic -14
