Faulty brakes..... I think... dealer canīt figure

Has anyone had this or heard of it....

My MY12 , when sationary... remains stationary when in ĻDrive Ļ when I take my foot of the brake....

If I pump the brakes.... they will release and the car will roll forward.....

They will then start to self brake again minutes later...

This also happens whilst driving at normal speeds and they seem to brake and the car feels like it is being held back, itīs not severe braking just gentle but enough to significantly slow the car down.....

Once stopped a pump of the brakes release them....

At motorway speeds there was a dangerously bad wheel wobble as well..which becomes scary under heavy braking

Dealer fitted all new discs and pads..... it lessened the problem but it has not gone away...

Next up is an odd curve ball..... It only happens when I When I am driving in Spain at sea level.....

When I am at altitude in the mountains where I spend half the year the problem does not seem to occur at all....

Iīm stumped... dealer too.....

I took a video to show him so at least he believes me now

I donīt believe itīs transmission related.....

Anyone any ideas...please 2014.5 SDV6 AB Dynamic ... Fuji /Santorini Pan roof and 22's

Altitude and temperature could impact the system if there was a chance there is moisture/air in the brake fluid /servo/pump / system which is confusing the pressure sensors/anti-lock system ?

Since it releases the brakes when you pump the pedal it might be a fault in the servo.. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

Dealer changed the pads and discs recently....to try and resolve the fault , whilst it improved slightly it was still happening after they had been fitted....

Thanks Camelrock.... servo def worth checking.... 2014.5 SDV6 AB Dynamic ... Fuji /Santorini Pan roof and 22's

Hi I had a similar fault like this one a few years ago on different make of car, after changing master cylinder, servo unit and pads discs etc we finally found the culprit a over adjusted brake light switch fitted to the foot brake pedal worth a look
