Mud Tyres

so.....in anticipation of the usual great british summer Laughing Laughing

what do you recommend for some mud pluggers, 18" - bought some cheap rims to put the shoes on and keeop my nice 20" for decent conditions, and avoid heavy salt from the roads

18mm of tread is a huge amount.

Grabber AT is pretty good in mud considering it's an AT rather than MT. Duratrac is basically the replacement for the MT/R as I understand it.

As Bodsy says, not really much more than that. To be honest, if you need a full mud tyre then you're probably in the wrong place...or wrong vehicle Rolling with laughter

(Actually, when out on a day earlier this year, I did end up axle deep in clayey mud. Had 19in Grabber AT on and it did manage to get out unassisted eventually. The TR and TC worked well with the tyres to get through. Did look like a winch job at one point but got through in the end.)

Edit: I see while I was typing the above you guys had moved on! Rolling with laughter 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

The Ziarelli is a remould tyre according to that site. Make sure you and your insurer are happy with that. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
