meguiar's da power system
i was ready for an amateur detailing session but it's another day of boring, typical british weather
i've purchased the meguiar's da power system, a dual action polisher that attaches to the end of a drill. it's received a ton of excellent reviews, even amongst the pro's. i tried hand polishing my car last weekend and it was laborious to say the least! so it should be easy work now. i'll try to get some before and after pics up...once the weather brightens up!
has anyone used this piece of kit? any useful tips?Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.
DONE: Meduza front bumper, AB rear bumper, AB tailpipes, calipers repainted, rear upper tailgate upgrade, side steps, AB front grille, AB side vents, rear LED lights, clear side repeaters, integrated daytime running lights, LED headlights.
TO DO: color code sills and pillars.

show some shots on how you get on, I've been toying with getting the machine or one of these, my paint is grey and looks great, but I'm guessing it can look a whole lot better with the paint corrected. Not as great as black does though

I've just bought a Meguiars G220v2 poilsher and a host of fancy microfibre cloths hopefully to make life easier but like yourself have been caught out with the weather. will be another 3 weeks before i get the chance to have a go so hopefully the weather will have improved slightly.
have also been looking at these clay towels that some speak highly of, rather than clay bars .... seems to save a lot of time and they also last longer.2010 RRS, TDV8
bali Blue / colour coded
side steps / flappy paddles
black perforated leather
22" overfinch
heated everything, TV,fridge ...... now with gold calipers and mud flaps !( black mud flaps that is) !!
