I have a similar problem with the waist rails at the bottom of the driver and passenger door windows in my Evoque which are out of alignment.

I have the same issue with my three week old RRS 2. There's a visible 2 to 3 mm height difference between the rear end of the black waist trim on the driver's door and the front of the trim on the off-side rear passenger door.

Yes, that's precisely my issue and the rails are being pushed up by something to create the misalignment. I can press the rail down into the correct position but it springs back.

As for tyre noise, I think 22 inchers are a no-no - lots of tyre roar, hard ride, more easily scuffed wheels and that's before you get to the cost of the tyres or replacement rims.

As for the OP's trim gap, I'm afraid the demand for the car and pressure to get them out the door is making them cut corners and what would have gone back for rectification is being waved through with a "Proudly Made in Solihull" sticker. All you can do as the owner is make enough of a fuss until the people running Land Rover sit up and take note. Mark

To me, it looks as though the seal has come off the body seam. Can you not just push it back on? Confused

Looks a bit shoddy. Even if it's a seal that has come loose; I wouldn't have expected such a gap. Urghh - just when I had decided that a RRS2 was much better than a Cayenne or X5 as my next car Sad 2001 Black Porsche 911 turbo

It is better, by far. Don't let little things like this put you off. Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more... Twisted Evil

Chris1806,

You recently got yours, any issues with gaps like these in your car?

Only issue with my car is that the rear windscreen was scratched by the valeters prior to collection! Otherwise everything is fine. What did the dealer do about your scratched glass, are they replacing it? Mark

I looked at mine at the weekend, and it is exactly that same as in the picture. I'm struggling to get too stressed about it though.

This is DEFINITELY NOT within any build tolerance. Your dealer is jerking you around.
Mine looks really tidy back there and very tightly fit. Yours looks like it has been under a tremendous amount of pressure that separated the two sides.

I would not stand for this at all. Find yourself another dealer. Although, it almost seems like something you could attempt to even fix yourself. Hard to say by the pic.
