Probably something like that - there is a move to make the vehicles more rounded on the outside. Also, it looks like it continues LR's trend of making their products more "lifestyle" and less "working". It will also, no doubt, be several £k more expensive than the outgoing version.

I'd really like the Freelander replacement to have air suspension and low range. That would probably be the new sweet spot in the LR range. I expect that it will have steel springs and a 9-speed gearbox with a very low 1st gear to give a low range effect. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
