Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Fuji White
EPB Emergency Brake option

At the Land Rover Experience day the weekend and driving the new SDV6 HSE Sport,
the instructor demonstrated the EPB emergency brake option, where the passenger can
apply it, basically removes all throttle response and pulls the vehicle up (no doubt a
feature for all drug dealers when the driver is stoned and about to kill everyone). The
instructor suggested there is the same feature on the MY10 models, but i actually did
RTFM and cannot find any reference to it..

Any pearls of wisdom and knowledge from the broader community on whether such an
option exists (above the 3 to 4 KM's that is)

Cheers

My MY08 does that. If you apply the EPB it overrides the throttle and uses the ABS to brake the car. It beeps at you before it does all of this. I think it also lights the brake lights too. Clever stuff and something I told SWMBO early in my ownership of the vehicle. Useful if the driver has a heart attack for example. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
