5 Spoke Ceramic Polished Wheels - Please Help

First post to this forum so go easy.

Just placed my first order for a new RRS (Dynamic) yesterday with 22" 5 Spoke Ceramic Polished wheels as they look great on the Land Rover Build tool.

However, I would feel much better if I could see a real-life pic of these wheels which I (and the dealer) have been unable to source to date.

Seems that they are quite rare, although I have seen a pic of the same design in the technical grey colour which look amazing.

Any help would really be appreciated and me feel comfortable that the extra 4k is worth it?

Cheers

SPEAR

£4k for wheels? Shocked

Is this what you're looking for?

If they are the other style Autobiography wheel, I couldn't find any with the smoked ceramic finish. Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more... Twisted Evil

Gone but not forgotten:

Hi Chris,

Many thanks for the reply.

No, I have attached an image from the build tool to show you.

They are a dealer fit option and require different tyres - thus all the extra cost.

Anyone else got these wheels?

The only thing I am debating is whether to leave the centre hub as is, that is same colour of the wheels or change it to the Range Rover black. I feel a black centre hub would make the wheels look better. I will try this combination when I take the car for the first check up after 1500 kms

Would love to see how that looks. Be grateful if you could post another pic if you go for the black

Without wishing to pour cold water on your plans, you will probably not feel the same way when the Auto Parking function you are showing off to a friend mis-judges the position of the kerb and it re-profiles the rim. Gutted more like.

Spending money on rims is fine - and the rears on my 911 are £1500 each - but you need to go in with your eyes open and understand whether the rims can be refurbished and, worst case, what the cost of a replacement is.

It's interesting to look when you are in the smarter areas of London to see lots of expensive cars with expensive alloys parked on the street which have been badly scuffed. Presumably, the mindset is that once you've done one, you don't care any more, assuming of course you did in the first place.

Edit: I notice that white RRS in the picture has side protection strips, first time I've seen them. I expect they may help in tight parking places, anyone here have them and what are your thoughts? Mark

Well I got those side protection strips exactly for that purpose. I have only had the car for 3 days now so too early to say but I hope they will protect the doors from other cars parked on each side when opening their doors. We'll see/

I am not a fan of those style of wheels TBH - they look a bit like the ones fitted to a Kia Sportage Confused MY2007 RRS TDV8 Black - tinted glass - side steps- stormer grille - 20" diamond cut alloys - alpaca leather - TV/DVD pack - some blingy chrome bits & bob's
