What to expect from a remap

Hi guys. I have a 2.7 RRS and have been advised to have a remap
My questions are
Where's the closest place to Nottingham to have it done?

What can I expect from it?

Roughly how much should I be paying?

The 2.7 is fine but it's a bit sluggish off the mark
Will a remap cure the sluggish acceleration?

I have been told a remapped 2.7 is roughly the equivalent to
A standard 3.6. Is this correct?

Thanks guys.

You can get better acceleration from stationary and improved mid-range performance too. A 2.7 TDV6 remapped within "safe limits" is NOT equivalent or even close to a standard 3.6 TDV8 but much better than a standard 2.7. Some people claim slightly improved fuel consumption too.

If you want a custom, switchable and safe remap with excellent aftersales service contact Pete at BAS: http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/member-bellautos.html
BAS remap is done remotely so your location doesn't matter.

I recently read that another sponsor provides a similar service: http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/member-alive-tuning.html
