MY07 2.7TD HSE Gear/transmission problem - HELP

I was hoping someone can give me some suggestions for a transmission problem?
I noticed over the weekend after slowing down for bends and roundabouts etc that once I re-apply the throttle that the RRS seems to not know to change gear and there is a massive delay before it sorts itself out?
This isn't the usual delay that we're used too, its noticeably different!
A few things to note which may rule a few things out or in.
The DSC light has flickered twice over the weekend while cornering but there is no warning message or anything other lights showing on the dash.
Both EGR's have been replaced, along with the alternator and compressor since I have owned the vehicle in the last 8 month. I also got the transmission reset about six weeks ago and its been fine.
All the brake light bulbs are working.
The RRS drives normal if I use the manual up and down shift, the power is 100% and there from the start.
There are no weird noises or anything else I have noticed since this started happening.
I've read about break light switches being changed?
The RRS only has 42k on the clock also!
