Thanks for the reply ! Your price seems fair ? (where was that may I ask ?) I have been quoted £550 "all in" which initially I thought sounded "ok" as this is from my usual guys who have looked after me with previous work ! (although at this moment I do not know the make of the parts quoted) . I have sadly trawled the evil that is Ebay . Prices there range from £155 (pattern) up to £435 (genuine Land Rover) for the parts only delivered ! Do these figures look "normal" at all gents ? Thanks again ! |

Ring them and ask for Nick, the only extra expense which he said I might incur would be shoes for the handbrake. I would probably get the handbrake done at the same time just so I know that all the braking system was done. 2006 RRS SC Bonatti Grey (the 55th car/van I have owned)

I agree with Shedrack That the pagid disks are very good. The coating on them works really well as stated and my garage swears by them. Great price as well. What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger!

Just been browsing this thread ...interested in the comments about Pagid and Euro Car Parts....have bought a number of different pads and disc sets from these people all Pagid products...packaged in Pagid boxes security sealed by TMD Friction (Pagid owners)...looked at the TMD/Pagid website and they name Euro Car Parts as their UK distibutor....seems like a court case in the offing if Euro Car Parts are indeed putting 'non Pagid' products in Pagid boxes???.. You will find euro car parts pagid brakes made by tmd friction which is mintex not looking a quality oe brand now, I use to fit a lot of pagid brakes until they went to tmd and started having so much problems with them. |
