I was wondering whether anyone here is finding the RRS too big? I know size matters and all that but it is one huge car - I watched someone trying to negotiate the tight corners in the Bath Podium multi-storey car park. I didn't hang around to see if it all ended in tears but it got me thinking. Mark

I've come from a Freelander, and I don't think the size is an issue. I have yet to park it in a multi-storey carpark though. Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more...

Prefer RR Vouge S/C but they don't do Orange !

I had a full fat for 18 months before getting the sport, now the ff is a big motor but never had any problems parking

Don't find the RRS big at all.

It's smaller than my wife's E350 (length wise) and easier for me to park in a two car garage with her car and a big motorcycle than her car is. So no, it's definitely not too big.

I think the problem in multi-story car parks is the width rather than the length.

It is OK when the ramps are wide as when they are used for 2 way traffic, but the dangerous ones are the narrow single car curving ramps that you often find.

They have kerbs that are a foot or more high, very,very narrow, the curve changes as you progress and are covered with the scrapes from earlier traffic!

Yeah, the ramps in this car park are single width and found at the far end of the car park. Even in my Evoque I feel like I'm going to scrape the sides as I turn.

I've seen loads of Sports parked in here, perhaps they're trapped and can't get out!

The new sport and range rover appear to be the same width and when I had new and old style Vogue loan cars I found parking spaces were too small but actually on the road the size didn't bother me

New Range Rover and Range Rover Sport are built on the same platform and as mentioned already have the same width.

However the Sport does have a more compact feel to it, though it does not help on narrow parking spots.

IMHO the new Sport and Range Rover look to identical... same design language surely, but still

The regulations that define the size of car parking spaces for Local Authorities are being abolished.

Look forward to new challenges in 'public car parks' - we'll need a gull-wing door conversion
