I have a RRS 3.6 tdv8 2010 I wanted to know which company to use for warranty if my car does go wrong??

Land Rover's "Approved" extended warranty is probably the best for your age of vehicle. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Is warranty direct any good?? They have quoted me 870.00 a year

I haven't used them but there have been positive comments on this forum about WD. However, if you tell them this is too much money they knock £100 off straight away and if you don't ring them they will keep sending you emails with a "special weekend discount of £100".

Landrover is still better but they will also want about £200 for an inspection - and you have to put everything right that they find needs fixing. Logical though.

Good luck, I just bought the same model, pick it up next weekend, can't wait.

You can haggle a lot with WD. I got them to £650 for 13 months for their top cover- and I'm absolutely rubbish at haggling. They've been great so far, but I haven't had to claim yet! Power steering pump feels like it might be in the way out so I'll soon find out!
