We had a chap do some for one of our customers at our yard, not impressed at all.

The only way to go is a refurb if you have a mobile it is cosmetic and within a year it will peel. |

Try your L/R dealer, they usually have a guy that comes on site to repair wheels on cars they have taken in px Not sure how good they will be though. |

Went to my local place and am taking it in on Monday. £84 inc vat for a refurb. Tyre off, refinished and in an oven.

Thats expensive compared to round here i can get them done for about £40 + pending how badly damaged the wheel is....

I got a quote from a local mobile refurber and he wanted £180 for a basic blow over, but then found a place 40 mins down the road from me that did the full acid dip, prime, powder coat, lacquer then tyres back on and balanced. £200 for a full set of 20" stormers.

Only had them on for 3 days and the dopey tart kerbed both near side alloys.......I could cry (followed by digging her a nice plot in the garden ) |
