United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Santorini Black
Supercharger sluggish

Hi All

I am hoping someone can help, I have a 2006 4.2 supercharged RRS and have had a couple of issues with the supercharger 'kicking in' and its extremely sluggish and struggled to go above 50mph, I turned it off and revved it a couple of times next time round and the supercharger was alive again, its happen 3 times over the week.
Has anyone got any advise please?

Confused

I've just had the supercharger aux coolant pump changed on mine apparently this can be a cause of powerloss

at the back of the supercharger, below the air intake there is a air return or circulation valve which I believe in your case is staying op so the supercharger is not building up any pressure.

under load this valve is supposed to close so the supercharged is going to compress air.
