I have never had an issue with starting after an engine replacement

i have removed the ecu and there is no sign of water ingress around the plugs etc,we cant understand why it should not communicate with the scanner,any thoughts  silverRRS 2.7 TDV6 22"WHEELS FULL COLOUR CODE,STEPS,REMAP..gone

Why don't you try talking to one of the re-mappers who is associated with the site - I am sure they can probably help tell you if the ECU is fried?
