New owner today...20007 TDV8

New owner today...
Picked up my TDV8 2007 Grey 66K logic 7 etc today. First time 4x4 owner yet feel I have some degree of 'expertise' thanks to all here who've replied to my various queries over the past month or so.

I am stunned by this car. Managed 28mpg at a steady 70 on the way back from picking it up yet goes like the clappers when required with no drama. Drives like a flying carpet. With a sensational sound system.

Even managed to fall asleep watching England v Denmark on the TV...

Need to work out how to stop the tailgate warning coming on all the time. Had the same thing on another RRS I test drove - probably something I'm doing with the key fob?

Thanks.

So needs a new tailgate switch then? Hopefully covered under RAC warranty - which I've yet to see...

Well how is it running? I've my eye on a black v8 and busting to get it. Waiting on a boy buying my crv then I'm good to go. It's all the toys and the engine looks beast! It's 8th on it and I'm wondering what trouble lies ahead. Still tossing between it and a boring x5. But I'm torn on what to do.
