Apart from the practical benefits that Foxy points out , I can see why you'd do that to the rear of the RRS  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Ok well, the spoiler arrived today.

Let's just say I can see why kahn don't show a product image prior to being fitted and painted.

I expected a plastic product that replaced the complete upper trim of the tailgate, what you get is simply a poor quality fibreglass shell that requires bonding to the tailgate!

How something , in my opinion, that could cost less than £30 to manufacture can be retailed at £399 ( now £299 ) quite frankly astoundes me!

I paid no where near either figure and still disappointed!

Oh dear.

The free use of my skip still applies Its a plastic recycling skip too.

Personally not a fan, looks like a shelf has been stuck on the back. But as Ady said... Whatever floats your boat would be boring if everyone had the same tastes

I'm in two minds now, put up for sale or source a spare upper tailgate trim and get it professionally moulded as one piece just to see what it looks like fitted!?

Whilst out been robbed blind by my kids in toys r us yesterday foxcubh spotted this ...

Don't tell me that thing from Bradford is still selling inferior products ????
I bet the packaging tape cost more to produce.

That spoiler is awful, too bulky and covers the entire boot.

The one I have is only approx the same size as the tailgate trim which covers the number plate lights etc, I still no it's not to everyone's taste but much better than that version.

I ordered a OE replacement tailgate trim last week, so gonna get the spoiler professionally fitted and moulded to that, means I can then swap the hole upper trim over. That way if I don't like it, I can always remove and refit my original trim.

Then you can put it in your skip for me Ady!

If you like it, then at least you have something to hold on to if your sport breaks down and you need to push it out of the way.

Exactly! And somewhere to put the polish when I'm cleaning it!

If not Drew please let me take it back to my learned friend. Its been a while since I have visited Kahn HQ.
