Mrs Muddy and I hesitantly went to see The Troggs last night at a local small theatre (having seen some recent clips on youtube that did not do them justice) with some friends and have to admit we were blown away
Have been to some fantastic concerts over the years - highlights up to now were Muse (HAARP @ Wembley), Rolling Stones (Forty Licks @ Twickenham), Miles Kane, Kasabian, Kaiser Chiefs, Willy Moon, Jack White, Joe Bonamassa to name a few but last night just went to the top of my list
They have a replacement lead singer following the death of Reg Presley last year - these guys are nearly twice my age but shook the place
If they are in your area and you appreciate real music I recommend getting tickets - http://www.my-generation.org.uk/Troggs/troggdates.htm
I only hope I still have it when I'm there age Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW
Still hoping for a S2 one day!
