Sat nav update 2007 sport

Hi, we have been recommended to visit navteq for a sat nav update but was wondering if anyone else had either had experience of this company or has been elsewhere with good results both for price and service
Thanks in advance

I got a disc from Amazon mate. I didn't ask too many questions to be honest but it's been working a treat for 6 months. Think I paid £10-15 for it. Even sold my 2005 disc on e bay for £10!

The legitimate disc is around £150, available from your local dealer.

There are illegitimate discs around, from various sources. The quality of these can be hit or miss, as to whether they work properly or not

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Zermatt Silver

Hi, my experience over the last week was quite interesting.

I wanted the latest disk for my2007 RRS and looked at the official set, £160 odd so thought I would go on eBay. I found one, looked genuine and started too bid, it got to £130 pound so thought I would stop and wait for another one to com up on eBay, well the original one I bid went for over £230, so glad I did not carry on bidding.

In the end I got the official one, worked 1st time and had managed to get me to Bath yesterday and then to Bedford using a much better route than a week earlier, so pleased with it.

All i can say is that on eBay its not just about if it is the official disk its also about doing research and not getting caught up in a bidding war.

Felipe

I did exactly the same. Including flogging the old one on eBay. Net cost - about nowt.
