England 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Buckingham Blue
RRS SC 2006 & ACM

Hi all.

Ive just bought my wife (myself) a new toy. A 2006 RRS SC with a few extra. It's a lovely car and look forward to picking it up.

I know variations of this question have been asked over and over but I've had trouble, even spending lot of time with the search option, trying to get a definitive, will the ACM work with this car?

Some people have said that it only officially works with the 2007 and later but others have said it does actually work on the 2006 as well.

Can anyone help me out as all I want is good quality music and the ability to skip tracks from the steering wheel controls?

Many thanks in advance

Ah, we had put the deposit down but when we went to pick it up the dealer couldn't get it started.... Not good.

So we got our deposit back and bought a 2007 TDV8 instead which we are very pleased with

I had a FFRR before and the Sport is definitely the one to have. I love my SC as I don't actually have to drive anywhere as I work offshore. Thumbs Up 2006 Supercharged

Surely then the one to have is a boat or a helicopter?

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Bonatti Grey

I have a 2006 RRS SC (had it 2 weeks) and the ACM did not work, tried it a few times with a 5th generation (must be 5th generation) iPod and a usb stick with mp3 files (must be less than 4Gb) but no joy. Took it back to the dealer and tried to show him that it did not work but it did !! Sods law.

It has worked ok but once I could not get it to work, I used a paperclip to press the reset button on it and hey presto, we have music again. I have left a paperclip in the glovebox now.

I believe it plays your playlist (up to 5 playlists) by selecting CD1 CD2 etc but not really set up any playlists. I just select the artist on the iPod, close the glovebox, then use the steering wheel controls to select, skip tracks etc.

Not the best system around but useable IMO. 2006 RRS SC Bonatti Grey (the 55th car/van I have owned)
