I towed a twin axle bailey senator series 6 and it towed nose down, as does my unicorn2 Barcelona, have you checked the nose weight with a gauge? Think it's 90kg. As said its best nose down

I am awaiting delivery of a Bailey Unicorn 2 Barcelona (first time back towing caravans for nearly 20 years since selling our campervan). The dealer has informed me of the need to have an Alko tow ball 50mm (longer neck) because of the type of coupling on the caravan.
I have both the hocky stick type hitch and the muti ball size hitch so will have to aquire yet another square reciever for the Alko 'long neck' ball to be attached too.

So a couple of questions;
i. do any of you guys have a van with this Alko stabaliser hitch on and have you had to use this special long neck 50mm ball or does the hocky stick hitch work ok??
ii. is the square hitch reciever a 'standard size' or specific to the Range Rover/Diso's?

Cheers
Graham

Thanks for that, will save me a $ or two.
Next question;
I have several towable 'vehicles', a motorbike trailer, agg trailer, a horse float and soon to be caravan the older trailers have the old original type lights the newer LED lights. I notice with the LED lights the indicators 'pulse' slightly all the time whist the ignition is on and carry on pulsing for about 10 minutes when the ignition is off both sieds together aka hazard lights? not as brightly as when the actual indicator is switched on but more of a low level pulsing. Any ideas?
Cheers
Graham

Annoyingly LR have removed all info relating to RRS and accessories off their website pre new model - mine is not even a year old yet and everything is gone Evil or Very Mad

Thanks guys for the advice on this, the money I'll save on not buying the Alko ball I'll spend on getting the relays fitted on my next service, which incidently will include the new belts etc so the small cost of the electric mod wont be noticed ha ha.
