Glad to hear that Thumbs Up

Its ok, I realise you guys don't wont most of Europe in at the moment either! there isn't much there of any interest anyway (nothing personal). Glad I live in Great Britain.

Now you have touched on something that really irritates me.

I have lost track of the number of drivers who are driving in poor visibility with no rear lights, but the front DRL;s on

As you can tell I hate the DRL's...but I have no problem with turning lights on in bad weather...surely me, this has to be what drivers should do, turn the lights on when the weather or visibility is bad...rather than have some LED designer thing on the front all the time. Mike

typo correct, thousands of pounds of private education, universities and training ruined by the fact I just don't care on a forum Embarassed Rolling with laughter

I don't read newspapers - never believe politicians and have no EU opinion other than they seem obsessed with controlling people needlessly.

What I do know, is for its many faults - Great Britain is one of the best countries in the world. But I would still emigrate to one of our old colonies who seem to not have lost there way.

Back to DRL's Mike

I actually think lights on during the day are a good thing and always used them when I had motorbikes - just to stay alive Rolling Eyes

Despite driving big LR's for years and a Landcruiser I have been bumped by motorists who claimed they did not see me - how big do you need to be to be seen for Censored sake Evil or Very Mad

I also regularly see idiots particularly where there are street lights who forget to turn lights on at night - so auto lights get my vote too Thumbs Up

I would also like to add having visited Switzerland it is on my list of best places to visit in Europe - friendliest most helpful people I have met anywhere - including uk Bow down Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Still hoping for a S2 one day!

People still have accidents with DRLs and still say they didn't see the person Confused

When everyone has there lights on, then it will just be a sea of lights

I have actually been to Switzerland, never driven there though Mike

Agree it will be a sea of lights Mike but in these days of dumbing down the mentally challenged might be able to work out if its lit it is moving and if not its stationary Laughing Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW
