Last week I went to a snow driving course organized by LR Switzerland.
Wednesday afternoon transfer to Gstaad with the dealer, 2 other clients and I.
Then, ground school, dinner and overnight in a 5 star hotel.
Thursday morning, breackfast, and transfer to the snow driving track next to a small airport.
Vehicles available, all the LR products, with all engines, from Diesel Evoque to Supercharged FFRR, about 15 cars.
2 drivers per car, through the exercise, switch driver, repeat, then switch car.
1. "off-road" track, with steep climbs, descents, etc.
2. Slalom on ice and snow, drifts at will.
Lunch.
3. Obstacles avoidance, with and without brakes.
4. Long slalom, total freedom(well, they did call us few times to take it easy:wink: )
Drifting, more drifting, all we could get, switched off all the aids we could.
The best for fun, Evoque Si4, petrol 240 bhp, light, low, manoeuvrable.
Supercharged 5,0 l, a bit too much
A great day, bit expensive, but great(paid half by dealer)
Still can't get rid of
Having too much fun to take pictures.
Only this, of some of the cars available
