RRS Price Advice

Hi All

I have been looking at the TDV6 for a little while, however have chance of a TDV8, one owner, grey, 95k, immaculate on a 2008. Hes after £16.5k. Does that sound a fair price. It has full history (not Land Rover) and has the extended warranty until August 2014.

Cheers

Richard

Seems reasonably priced. Make sure to check over it thoroughly. Thumbs Up 2014 L405 SDV8 RR Autobiography Cool

I got 19000 for a 2007 47000 mile fully loaded car last year so may be tad high considering the miles...... 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈

Think you need to get the price down from there. Go in with a low offer, you can always come back up a bit. Done enough miles really and once it hits 100k it will affect price. If you do have a test drive make sure you make it a good one and make certain everything works as it should. MY 09TDV8

£16,500 is the price, not a penny less. I've looked on the forum and ebay etc and cant find another 2008 reg TDV8 for that price anywhere, not sure if I am missing something.

As a rough guide, I traded in my 2007 TDV6 55k miles RRS for £18k last month. 2014 L405 SDV8 RR Autobiography Cool

£16,500 for that RRS sounds a very fair price, I think those saying it's high simply can't know the current values.

Is it up for sale with a trader or private?

I'd say that price is ok.

Trade in values are always low compared to resale or sale value (remember they have to make a living out of your profit).

I don't think when cars hit 100k they lose a load more money as some cars do they in a few years now, maybe 10 year ago that was true. Personally I still feel it's a milestone the 100k marker but my pal has just bought a 450,000 mile car now do you think they is anything original left on his car?

I'd say it is a good price, can you find another TDV8 with less than 100k for 16.5k? Probably not........think that answers any questions......

I think 16.5K is a very good price. I am very close to committing 18K for a 57 reg TDV8, very tidy and I know the owner well so I have good knowledge of the car. There will always be cheaper cars and dearer cars, different specs, service history's and regional variations but it is just a question of being comfortable with the price you are paying and the car you are getting.
