Depends how quick you were travelling, wouldn't expect the DSC to kick in under normal driving.

Was the road slippery/muddy?

Uneven tyre wear can cause this or 1 or more bald tyres.

Same issue

Hi Andy,

Have you managed to sort this? I seem to have the same issue but it only started after fitting a new set of wheels and tyres.
Thanks,
Dave.

No havent been near the car, been using the 110 due to the inclement weather we are exoeriencing !

If its down to worn tyres then it must be diff wind up causing the slippage. 08 2.7 RRS "S"

Has it had any suspension work, or a wheel alignment done recently?

Could be as simple as the steering angle sensor, needing a calibration. Thumbs Up

DSC light coming on when cornering to the left...

HI,
I think I may be getting somewhere with my issue at last. The car is currently at the local main dealer for the brake safety recall so I asked them to check the DSC / wheels issue out again for me. I have swapped back to the original set of wheels and tyres and the fault is still there so that's good news I guess. They called me this afternoon saying that they have ran various checks and now say that the steering sensor is faulty and is causing the fault after all. They then quoted me £935.00 to replace the entire steering column as the sensor has become "unbonded" and cannot be repaired. I have a warranty on the car but not with LR so I now have check if this is covered but I am thinking there must be a cheaper way of getting this sorted than a new column surely...am I right?

Thanks,
Dave.
