RRS autobiography - Which 1st Generation MY to buy

Hi All;

I'm a Disco 3 owner wanting to upgrade to RRS autobiography, however prices do differ quite a lot from 2010 to 2013 models.

With this in mind, I wanted to check with you guys if there are any major differences from MY 2011, 2012 and 2013.

I'm not an 'off-roader' per-say - I'm looking for comfort and style!

There are some features I'm interested on (must have) which might not be present in all models:

-SDV6 Engine with paddle shift
-Memory Pack
-Cold Climate Pack & heated leather steering wheel
-Timed Climate - 7 days / Park Heat with remote
-HDD Premium Navigation
-5 inch Thin Film Transistor (TFT)-LCD instrument panel
-Push Button Start
-Rear View Camera
-Adaptive Cruise Control

Thanks

Lucio

D3 to RRS...

The 2011 is different - some features made standard (I cant fully recall)...cant really remember my 2011! I think the fridge, tv were made standard but there was more.

The 2012 is the engine change to SDv6 and the 8 Speed and infotainment
The 2013 had some minor improvements, infotainment, tyres etc

Timed climate can be easily added on all, on certain 2013's it was standard.

The rest on the HSE looks standard, except the heated wheel - this is an option on HSE, might be standard on AB Mike

Hi and welcome to the site Thumbs Up

I will try and answer as many of your questions as i can, the ones i can't answer, then i'm sure one of our other members will.

SDV6 Engine with paddle shift........September 2012 onwards
-Memory Pack..... If this is what i think it is, Memory seats & steering wheel, all models in question.
-Cold Climate Pack & heated leather steering wheel... ccp, not sure, Heated steering wheel Factory extra approx £185
-Timed Climate - 7 days / Park Heat with remote.... Again not sure.
-HDD Premium Navigation....2011 onwards i think
-5 inch Thin Film Transistor (TFT)-LCD instrument panel... Again 2011 i think.
-Push Button Start... 2011 onwards.
-Rear View Camera... 2011 onwards.
-Adaptive Cruise Control... Again not sure.

Sorry not much help but a start i guess.

My 2012 SDV6 HSE Luxury has all those items (timed climate with remote added by me)

The Lux pack gives you the updated audio system with more speakers etc, adaptive cruise control, heated steering wheel and extended leather pack.

Mine also has the exterior design pack so very close to the AB which I believe adds premium mats, two tone leather interior, AB badging on door trims and a matching leather owners handbook thingy.

I would go for a 2012> onwards RRS as they came with many improvements.

This is one of the cheapest 2012 A/B RRS I have come across.

Hi all

Thank you for the warm welcome and all the messages.

It feels that 2012 onwards if I choose SDV6 engine otherwise 2011 should be fine.

Also it seems that the RRS HSE luxury could be an alternative.

Thanks

Lucio

Hi Lucio,

We're happy to help. We have a couple in stock at the moment and have a couple of head office AB's due back between now and the end of March.

If you would like to contact Jeremy Jackson on 0208 440 8252 or email jeremy.jackson@hadleygreen.co.uk then he will happily help. He is off site currently but will be back in the office tomorrow.
