hello

new to this forum just wondered if anyone could help or has had the same problem .. i have a range rover sport supercharged 2006.

i was driving last week, n the steering went really heavy like they was no power steering after few seconds went back to normal.. did this a few times for the next few days on n off. went for a drive yesterday and its stayed heavy all the time now .. any ideas ?? checked the fluid levels n tyre pressures all seem to be ok ?

Quite possibly the lower steering column. Very common fault between RRS + D3

Does the steering feel "lumpy" as you go from lock to lock?

yes it does feel lumpy goes heavy n then normal when putting the steering on lock either way .

My money is on the lower column U/J seizing up

Not too expensive, £60-£70 or so, unless it is different on the S/C model
