I recently moved home from Perth and may be going back. Can you tell me (PM if you want) how much your total costs are once you have imported it?

I hope you've kept your UK licence.. I got caught a few times and only had to pay the fine. So long as you dont go PR you never need to change.

Remember, radar detectors are legal here in WA. I would suggest investing in a Valentine 1, mine has saved me a few times now, even from being just a few clicks over inadvertently. The only ones it doesn't see are the behind on opposite side of the road type. Just got a lovely picture of my X6 on green paper 2 points and $150 for 71 in a 60 Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

If you intended to use your UK licence as proof of ID (as every has to provide ID entering bars) this will not work unless you have a passport with you also. I'd advise you to get a proof of identity card instead from the Dept of Transport. This will save you from changing your licence to WA and also to save carrying your passport with you. I miss Perth |
