An Omega would be the best choice out of that list for me.

I've got a Panerai Luminor Marina and I love it, I've owned a Bi-Metal Rolex Submariner and an Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Chronograph but the Panerai has been my favourite by quite a bit.

If you do go for a Tag, they are available with massive discounts.

Be careful if you do; if you get charged the duty when it enters the UK, it's sometimes works out better to buy here (and a bit less risky)

Love the Carrera!! I used to wear my Rolex milgauss all the time but I've just replaced it at Christmas with a tag.
Although it's a ladies watch so not your thing.
I think with watches you got to go with your heart

My son has the Tag Grand Carrera on a black rubber strap......It's a lovely looking watch, sits very nice on the wrist, looks great with a shirt and suit too. He also owns an Omega Seamaster (orange bezel) which is a great looking sporty watch, but a little heavy for my liking. Between those two I much prefer the Tag, but have always liked the Breitling Navitimer and prefer it's looks to the other two options, particularly when worn with the leather strap rather than the bracelet which for me is a little too blingy. 2010 RRS TDV6 3.0 Autobiography - Stornoway Grey

as Foxy says buying a watch is from the heart, i have been looking to get one and i just can't decide on what

I am swaying towards the Omega Seamaster then i see something else that catches my eye and i'm back to square one

but i keep going back to the Omega and comparing it to the others, but can't have the Planet Ocean Chrono as the 45mm case is just too big for my wrist when on Big Cry

The other thing is the cost, will i be comfortable wearing that amount of money on my wrist Confused

I used to worry about the cost of my Rolex Nick and would only wear it for 'special' outings.

I then thought, what's the point of having the thing sitting in the drawer and not wearing it. It's now my daily watch and I'll swap it our with my TAG (original F1 plastic strap model Cool ) when I'm either doing sport or mucky jobs.

Lifes too short to worry about the 'what if's'. Buy a nice watch a wear it I say.

Agree with you and Foxy, the heart should always win when buying a watch Thumbs Up ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

As Beancounter said life is too short, buy the watch of your choice and wear it...enjoy it. Most people will not even take any notice of your watch unless you are waving it under their nose. If you are going to be mugged it will because they think you have cash... the watch will be an after thought if they spot it on your wrist...IMHO.

In six years of wearing a Breitling I only ever had one person comment on it. While on a cruise one of the head stewards in the dining room happened to be a watch buff and complimented me on it. Most people wouldn't know an expensive watch from something costing a couple of hundred quid. Thumbs Up 2010 RRS TDV6 3.0 Autobiography - Stornoway Grey

think it all depends on what you want it for and what you do i.e. do you want an every day watch that looks good in the pub as well as in a suit or more of a dress watch
again i think it depends on what your own style is and your build as i i have big wrists and quite broad so apart from the rolex submariner very few of the rolex range suit me as they look to small where as the breitlings suit me

for the record my day to day is a super ocean and also have limited edition brietling based on the steel fish only the dead truely know peace,
Bootneck its not a job its a way of life!
