The Breitling Navitimer is a beautiful watch, the blue dial on a blue leather strap is my personal favourite. Thumbs Up 2010 RRS TDV6 3.0 Autobiography - Stornoway Grey

Omega by a long shot

breitlings look too fussy

Tags bracelets were very cheap feeling on ones I looked at, though I believe the latest models have improved quality

@Cossiedave-Nice, but i want to be able to wear it most of the time, without the worry of being mugged.

@Npinks- Agreed the tags have got better as my mates new one is so very comfy.

Tag all the way!! Subtle and understated (bit like my RRS Wink)

Serious note, their after sales care is fantastic and the watches are great. All comes down to what you like at first glance I think. Smile TDV8 Java Black, Overfinch 22s

@CossieDave, what put me off, its a very well known watch (lovely don’t get me wrong), but three guys knocked at a neighbour’s house just two weeks ago, pinned him down in the hallway, took his watch and run.

Now the police recon he was spotted out, and followed home, the trouble was he was pinned in the hall, so he couldn’t move or fights back, as one guy approx 20 stone covered his mouth while kneeling over his chest.

Its kind of put me off wearing that type of distinctive watch, or at least restricts the times i wear it.

@ Alex, i cant stop putting on the Carrera Rs that my mate just got Thumbs Up
but i need to keep my options open

I would choose Omega out of the three brands you mentioned, here is one I picked up recently. It is well made and feels solid
