10.2" Rear Seat Entertainment

Since the MY14.5 spec there's another Rear Seat Entertainment system that is available for the RRS (and also the FFRR). These are installed onto the back of the front seats, it seems. Has anyone seen or found info on these? I'm just curious how these are mounted and look.

Thanks in advance for the info Thumbs Up

Hi Baco..... I saw a picture in the dealership here last week........
It showed both the in headrest RSE ....and also an IPAD ... which appeared to be in a beautiful polished metal precision frame that was on an extending arm that then folded back into a recess in the back of the seat........
If the picture is accurate and gong into production..... it looked amazing...
Of course the dealer tried to explain it to me in English.....so I hope I understood it correctly.....

Has anyone else seen this picture or know anything about it..... it looked like a far slicker option than the standard RSE... and looked mightily impressive in the pic...

I will be asking my dealer to find out more today if he can.... 2014.5 SDV6 AB Dynamic ... Fuji /Santorini Pan roof and 22's

It could be something like this too (although these are iPads):

This was from a Range Rover Autobiography Ultimate, it seems

It did look something like that..... perhaps with the language barrier.... he may have forgotten to tell me it was FF....
but who knows...... it would sure be a nice option to have on the RRS... and they do seem to be doing a lot of crossover both ways on FF and RRS... 2014.5 SDV6 AB Dynamic ... Fuji /Santorini Pan roof and 22's

It'll probably be something like that. I don't see a use in permanently fixed screens on the back of the seats, this looks like a great option imho. I'm certainly interested!

I think you are right - they are listed as "rear seat mounted screens" as opposed to 8" ones that are "built into the headrests", and you can't have the 8 inch headrest ones with the Style Seven seats (massage and articulation).

IMO the 8" look far better. Integrated and sleek. The 10.2" look like an iPAD glued to the seat.
Just an opinion...

Yeah, the integrated look is better indeed. I would hold my breath each time my kids enter the car with those 10.2" sets (you know, backpacks etc). With older kids, no worries, but still, I don't like the idea of these screens extending from the back seats.
