Im sad as no car for weekend... well max 50mph i sussed out...

Car went in local 4x4indys this morning, for rear ride height sensor, as it was faulty... car drove fine just had orange light up on dash... but thought hey ho ill get it changed for the better.... so yeah.. sat morning 8am booked in.. came back around 10:30.... having problems, couldnt get suspension to calibrate, waiting... 12 o'clock... car was driveable. They think faulty wiring to sensor but no sparky there.. i needed car as i work away during week no transport to work etc etc. Lovely least car back, they said front ok right level rear just above access height. I asked car will be ok for couple weeks no harm etc? Yes fine sir.... drove out all good... potted around city... soon as i hit main road bang red light... stopped car off and on, tryed again... on it came! boucnes around like crazyyyyy with red suspension light up!
Car fine til i go above 50ish mph... why 50 and why does it do it?
I have no orange light on anymore or faulty sensor on screen before hand!
Just damn annoying... what if i had work or something today or headed onto motorway

Time i got home they were closed... so looks like i need another day off work just to sort my car

Probably wont help but it might just be worth trying the old 30seconds 'reset' and see if it unscrambles its little brain.

Have you checked the relevant fuses are making good contact?

Sounds like a calibration issue to me.

Yeah they said they finding it hard to calibrate... and thats best they could get it so i could drive it! They didnt say it would throw up the red light over 50mph though.

There computer was showing no fault after changing sensor, this what confused them... just annoys me as driving home and bam!!

How do i do the reset?

Reset - disconnect battery, wait a minute or two. Touch the two battery cables together, wait a few minutes and reconnect.

Tryed hard reset... didnt work light still comes on at 50mph... leaving car outside indys tonight for them to hopefully sort monday as they said yeah it fine to drive etc... when it isnt! Gonna try a new compressor i think too As mine is noisy and on its way out

Update... car is at indys... been there all day... aparently fault with wiring somewhere as there is a high rresistance somewhere... but after all day there cant find where its wrong... surely cant be that hard!
I told them to change the compressor but that havent been done yet, i thought if message raising suspension slowly means its nackered, and it was very nosiy anyways!
Would changing this help or? Are they right about wiring fault somewhere, which wont let them set the rear height properly.

I'd have thought that a wiring issue would generate a fault code.
