My V5 came yesterday and new tax disc today. I changed my plates as soon as I received my V5 as I went online and only my private plate came up.

My log book and tax disc arrived a day apart.

Just put my plates on today!!

The rear plate which had been stuck on actually came off without issue - I just hope the new one (also stuck on) stays put! LOL

Same for me when I collected the new RRS last October...had to wait a week for the tax disc to arrive. Congrats on the new D4..what colour is it and does it have the new facelifted lights? Any pics yet?
I had a private plate on retention, send it to the DVLA on Monday for putting on the RRS , and I've just noticed that on the DVLA vehicle check site that it's now been registered for the car, so I'm good to go and put the new plates on tomorrow which I bought online last weekend and arrived soon after.
Pretty swift service from the DVLA!

Thanks, it is weird driving around without a tax disc! Im leaving my private plate off this one though

Pictures of the disco are in an off topic thread - its corris grey, Initial impressions, I like the colour - I wondered about red for a while and 2 other odd colours (name escapes) but corris is cool.

I love the vision stuff (blind spot, reverse protection etc etc) and yes its the new facelift one Mike
