Baron, in your signature you have a limited edition model number 0001 - what does that mean ? What limited edition?  RR Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange 4.2 V8 First edition

Prefer RR Vouge S/C but they don't do Orange !

Hey guys.

Well, it's my regular garage who I've been with for years and trust 100%.
They are doing my service and MOT for £850 using all genuine LR parts.
Strange but true, the LR parts were cheaper than the after market ones.

Full front and rear belt changes with new pulley guides and brand new LR oil pump with new casing.
Usual oil change and filter etc.

Gaz.

I got my 7 year 105k done at Harwoods LR Dealer, Tonbridge, Kent, last year and it was £799.00, worth asking them if you are in the area

I can assume correctly can't I that if LR are supplying a new oil pump and casing that it will be the newer beefed up one won't it?
They wouldn't sell the old weaker type to me would they?

Gaz.

Mine due in March, i have enquiried at my indy who i usually use & this is there reply...

The 7 year / 105k service would be £579 or £599 + VAT depending on the rear timing belt used. There are 2 options and one is about £20 more than the other. When I put your chassis number in LR's parts catalogue it will let me choose both! It's not a problem though as we keep both in stock and would remove the old one first note the part number on the belt and go from there. All parts used are genuine and carry a 12 month / 12000 mile warranty ( whichever come first ). We would replace the front and rear timing belts, tensioners, both front idlers bearings ( these aren't on LR's schedule but any other manufacturers timing belt kit comes with the idlers and for peace if mind I think they are worth replacing ) and a new alternator belt. The normal part of the service includes new engine oil and filter and a new pollen filter ( genuine parts again ), a good check of the transmission levels and brakes etc, the service indicator resetting and a full diagnostic code read.
The job would normally take about 7 hours
