If your car has it, there'll be an aux socket behind the armrest by the back seat heated seats switches. It may be behind a flappy cover. Best lead to get is one with the 30 pin iPod socket on one end and a headphone jack on the other. Plug the headphone jack end into the aux socket , set the stereo to Aux and off you go. |

Good news! You can also get one with a third end with a USB connector. Get an adapter with a USB hole to go into the cigarette lighter socket by the aux socket, plug the USB end into that and then you can charge your I pod at the same time.

Hi, I had the same question a few weeks back & just stumbled onto a link within this forum. I got this lead with a small USB adaptor. Now I play and charge my iPhone 4S in the car, as you would with an expensive integration kit.

The right lead but the wrong price in that link. £12 is too much as there are other eBay sellers offering the same type of lead in black for about £2. Whilst you are on eBay I recommend you order one of these right angle adapapters in black with gold plated contacts - http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/200824884447

I have just tried a jack lead to jack lead and nothing comes through on the aux? I have an Iphone 5 and wanted to play that through the car speakers do I need to use the I phone charger point instead of the jack plug? |

That should work mate but it will be poor quality and very quiet- you'll have turn your system up a lot. Also check the volume setting on the actual I phone and this will have an effect with a jack to jack connection |
