Wales 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Santorini Black
Expert advice

Existing RRS owner - 58 HSE 3.6 TDV. Looking for 12 / 62 plate low mileage . Key criteria are privacy glass and Ipod connectivity.

Does anyone know the cost / practicality of installing these / or whether standard on all most recent models ? Like the look of Luxury HSE but what is material difference between it / Black / Red / standard HSE ?

Thanks in advance

I'd be very surprised if a 62 plate anything hadn't got iPod connectivity. Privacy glass can be added for around £2-300 but the majority will have it fitted already.

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Santorini Black

I just bought a 62 plate HSE Black edition and it does have I-pod conectivity. There is a USB socket in the underside of the centre cubby box lid specifically for Ipods (and another for other storage devices). I haven't tried it, but if you plug an ipod, Iphone or Ipad into it you allegedly get full control over said device from the touchscreen.

It also has Bluetooth streaming - my wife can play music from her I-phone (via Bluetooth) even when mine is conneccted as a phone. Bluetooth streaming does not give you full control over the device except for skip forwards/back. I.E. no track listing etc.

Not as cool as it sounds as my wife has dire music tastes. ---------------------------

I have a 62 HSE Luxury and can confirm the IPod connectivity. Use it all the time. All information shows on the display screen, so you can hide the I Pod away and control it from the car controls.

For all one of the changes between a 11MY and a 12>MY was the switch from the "extra" ipod lead and the standard USB/Apple interface. Mike
