A tailored mat will not work as the steering wheel is on the other side, however the rubber mat shown in the UK brochure looks suspiciously like the one you described.

Fair point, but you still use your right foot for driving, correct? I'm hoping the only difference might be the hole for the retention hook, which I can live with for a full coverage mat. |

Right foot, yes, but the footwell shapes must be different as the US and UK have different part numbers.

Interesting. The different part number might imply that I'm right in suspecting you folks get a full mat, not a half mat. Does anyone have a set that can post up an answer? |

For some daft reason, all their mats have gone to half mat for the driver....bloody stupid.... |

Yes they are 1/2 mats for the drivers side in the UK. I guessed it was to do with the accelerator pedal jamming issue they had with people fitting wrong mats? I think JLR are about the only bespoke manufacturer left that don't supply mats as standard. ---------------------------
