ST, been travelling so haven't reverted to you re Lux. Is that still on your route? Also, Angel will know better but if you're going via the black forest then Baden-Baden is very nice and I can find the name of an incredible hotel someone told me about and pm you (but only can do that next week). Late to the party here, but the road that runs from Naples along to Salerno is worth a punt as long as you don't suffer from vertigo. Passes through some very nice little towns - some of which are more cosmopolitan than others (i.e. you're stuffed if you don't speak at least a smattering of Italian). Positano is on this route and although it's a little bit touristy it's a wondeful looking town and has a fantastic ice cream shop near the town square! You could dip your Buttons in it!! |
